How to submit cards for grading

Choose cards worth grading, create an account with the grader, pick the cheapest tier that covers each card’s graded value, fill out the online submission form, pack each card in a penny sleeve and semi-rigid holder, ship insured with tracking, and wait for grades.

  1. Screen your cards. Run each one through the bulk planner; send only the ones marked Grade it.
  2. Pick a grader and tier. See best grading company.
  3. Fill out the online form on the grader’s site with each card’s declared value.
  4. Pack: penny sleeve, then a semi-rigid (Card Saver) holder, then a team bag; sandwich between cardboard; box, not envelope.
  5. Ship with tracking and insurance for the declared value.
  6. Track status online; return shipping is billed before cards ship back.

Splitting one shipment across more cards lowers the per-card shipping cost. The calculator’s “cards in this order” field handles that.
